The life behind the mission

Kinsley Nicole
deMontigny.

Our sweet daughter. Forever loved.

Her life is at the heart of The KiND Foundation. Her story belongs in the smiles, the family memories, and the moments we will always carry with us.

A life in photographs
A black-and-white family portrait shared in memory of Kinsley.
In loving memory of Kinsley.

An evening at home during Covid

Her voice,
forever with us.

Build Me Up Buttercup

Kinsley learned “Build Me Up Buttercup” in just two hours, then performed it for her mom and brother one night while they were sheltering at home during Covid.

A song learned in an evening. A family memory to carry forever.

A treasured evening with her mom and brother. Shared by Kinsley’s family.

Remembering her life

So much love.
So many memories.

Kinsley was a beloved daughter, and her family’s love for her continues in every part of this foundation’s work.

We want you to know the life behind her name: the years of growing up, the moments shared with family, and the photographs that bring those memories close again.

“Turn Kinsley’s story into someone else’s safe trip home.”

Love carried forward

Her legacy is a reason
to protect someone’s tomorrow.

On March 5, 2024, Kinsley’s life was taken by an impaired driver. Her family created The KiND Foundation to honor her memory and help prevent another family from experiencing this loss.
